Jack Jeremiah Wallis

Roebuck, SC- Jack Jeremiah Wallis, 87, husband of Margaret Conner Wallis, died Friday, February 5, 2016. Born February 16, 1928 in Opelika, AL, Jack was a son of the late Arris and Olga Nora Andrews Wallis. He honorably served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Jack attended Auburn University and was employed with Lockwood Green Engineers for over 35 years. He was a member of Nazareth Presbyterian Church. In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his sons, Randall Drew Wallis (Mary) and Brett Tyler Wallis; stepsons, Joel and John Pritchard; and grandchildren, Katharyn Elizabeth “Kit” Wallis, John Tyler “Jak” Wallis, Kelly Queen (Jamie), and Cassie Dolley (Brian). A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 13th, 1:00PM at Nazareth Presbyterian Church officiated by Reverend Julie Schaaf and Reverend Mitch Trammel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Nazareth Presbyterian Church, 680 Nazareth Church Road, Moore, SC 29369.
