John Wycuff Spartanburg – Jonathan David Wycuff, 60, husband of Shirley Crocker Wycuff, died Friday, February 26, 2016. John was born on December 4, 1955 to the late Dr. Charles B. and Betty Hester Wycuff. He was the owner of American Drywall Service, and a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. John loved and was a student of history and genealogy. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. In addition to his wife, John is survived by his daughter, Joanie Wycuff Shackleton; brothers, Perry Wycuff (Sharon), Bud Wycuff (Donna); sisters, Jan Fuhrmann (Ralph), Joan Van de Riet (Alfred), Darlene Wycuff; Stephen Shackleton, who he loved as a son; brother in law, Wayne Crocker (Barbara); many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved pets. He was blessed with a grandson, Solomon Aidan Shackleton. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 1:45PM on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Dunbar Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00PM in the Dunbar Funeral Home Chapel.
