Charles Henry "Harry" Neely

Roebuck, SC- Charles Henry Neely, 73, husband of Patsy Baughman Neely, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 4, 2016. Born December 10, 1942 in Spartanburg, SC, Harry was the son of the late Thomas Lawton and Carolyn Switzer Neely. He was a graduate of Blue Ridge High School and Wofford College. After retiring from RR Donnelly, he worked at Piedmont Farm and Garden. Along with gardening, Harry enjoyed serving on the pit crew for the Dorman High School band. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Roebuck. In addition to his wife of 50 years, Harry is survived by his daughters, Lisa Black (Tommy) and Lori Barnes (Kevin); grandson, Joshua Stephens; granddaughter, Brittany Neely; a brother, Tim Neely; a sister, Carol Cantrell; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 6th, 2-3PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow in the sanctuary at 3PM, officiated by Reverend Jim Oliver, Reverend Joe Burnett, and Reverend Dr. Kirk H. Neely. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. In remembrance of Harry, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, P O Box 229, Roebuck, SC 29376, designated to the Mission Fund, the Building Fund, or to the Food Pantry.
