Linda Ann Wood Kinley

Linda A. Wood KinleySpartanburg, SC- Linda Ann Wood Kinley, 68, wife of Harold Kinley, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016. Born June 7, 1947 in Spartanburg, SC, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Thomas and Elizabeth Faye Harris Wood. Miss Linda, as she was known by many, was a mother figure, mentor, teacher, and friend to many of Spartanburg’s children and families through her prolonged service at First Presbyterian Church’s Weekday School, as well as its afternoon Latch-Key Program. She served as an elder at Covenant Presbyterian Church. Linda regularly volunteered with Mobile Meals. She loved her garden, her family, and especially her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her daughter and daughter in-law, Jennifer and Kim Kinley-Lawrence; grandchildren, Caden and Gracen; her son and son in-law, Jack Kinley and Cain Williamson; her sister, Betty Wood; and her brother, Donald Wood and his wife, Janis; as well as her nieces, nephews and their families, whom she loved dearly Linda is preceded in death by her sister, Martha Jean Haynes and her husband, Aubrey Leland Haynes. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 3rd, 6-8PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 4th, 2PM at Nazareth Presbyterian Church.
