Spartanburg, SC- Vernon Marion Dunker, 97, husband of Arlene Shreeve Dunker, died Monday, April 11, 2016. Born December 21, 1918 in Mason City, IL, Vernon was a son of the late John and Sara Petty Dunker. In addition to his wife, Vernon is survived by his daughters, Sharon Carroll of Marietta, GA, Karen Parr of Mason City, IL, Lynda Mancuso of Orlando, FL, and Verna Gribbin of Spartanburg, SC; seven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Mason City, IL.
