Roebuck – Virginia Clem Vaughn, 97, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary O’Shields Clem. Virginia was a member of Roebuck Baptist Church and the Daughters of Ruth Sunday School Class. She was a retiree from Spartan Mills, a former member of the Eastern Star, and a volunteer for Spartanburg Regional Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Elizabeth Campbell, Martha Quinn; and a brother, Jack Clem. Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Wayne Burgess, Jackie Camp, Kenny Campbell, Steve Clem, Jewell Fowler, and Nancy Hoenicke. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 29, 2016, 1-2PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow in the Chapel officiated by Reverend Dr. Tim Williams and Reverend Dr. Ondra Black. Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home of a niece, Jewell Fowler. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the caregivers of The Cottages at Brushy Creek of Greer, the Gentiva Hospice Team for their loving care, and also to Roebuck Baptist Church for their faithful contacts and love.
