Gerald "Dude" F. Turner

Spartanburg, SC- Gerald Fletcher Turner, 83, husband of the late Patricia McManus Turner, died Monday, May 9, 2016. Born July 21, 1932, Gerald was the son of the late Otis Maybin and Edith Willie Lee Turner. He was a graduate of Spartanburg High School. Gerald was a self-employed piano technician for many years. Gerald is survived by his daughters, Pamela T. Bulman (Gil) and Vicki T. McCraw (Rodney); a son, Gerald “Dude” Turner, II; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 13th, 1:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A private interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care of SC, 110 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
