Spartanburg, SC- Charles Dalbec, 73, devoted husband of Christine White Dalbec, died Monday, May 23, 2016.
Born April 28, 1943 in Boston, MA, Charles was the son of the late Euclide and Alice Sicard Dalbec. He graduated from UMass Dartmouth in textile engineering. Charles was retired from Milliken & Company as a senior textile design development engineer after 36 years of service. He was an active member of Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 9575. Charles will be remembered for his kind and jolly nature.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Allison Buchheit (Paul) of Melrose, MA; two sons, Erik Dalbec of Wyndham, NH and Tim Dalbec (Kim) of Dover, NH; six grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Dalbec (Rosa) of Canton, OH and Roland Phillip Dalbec of New Bedford, MA; and a sister, Anne Marie Keenan (Joe) of Netcong, NJ.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 30th, 6-8PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 31st, 12noon at Jesus Our Risen Savior.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
