Lue Cille Black Gibbs

Spartanburg, SC- Lue Cille Black Gibbs, 88, wife of the late Melvin “Razor” Gibbs, Jr., died Saturday, May 28, 2016. Born July 23, 1927 in Blacksburg, SC, Lue Cille was the daughter of the late Thomas and Maude Wilson Black. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Lue Cille is survived by her children, Jimmy Gibbs and his wife, Marsha, Jayne Gibbs, and Tommy Gibbs and his wife, Tonia; four grandchildren, Kymberlee Gibbs, Chuckie Stevens and his wife, Amanda, T.J. Gibbs and his wife, Danielle, and Heath Gibbs; seven great grandchildren; and three caregivers, Bobbie Gowan, Pattie Eadie, and Kim Landrum. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 1st, 10:30-11:45AM at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E Main St, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 12noon, officiated by Reverend Tim Hackett and Reverend Phil Duke. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Jayne. In remembrance of Lue Cille, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
