Betty Kilpatrick Schiafone

Betty Kilpatrick Schiafone Spartanburg – Betty K. Schiafone, 77, wife of the late Floyd Maurice Schiafone, died Friday June 3, 2016. Betty was born on May 19, 1939 to the late Archie and Lola Goodman Kilpatrick. She retired from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and was a member of Fairforest Church of God. Betty is survived by a son, Michael Engberg (Jeannie) of AL; two daughters, Michele Sourbeck (Tim Lee) of Spartanburg, Lisa Blackwell (Tim) of Gaffney; a brother, Marvin Kilpatrick (Marsha) of AL; three sisters, Dollie Jones, Linda Pate (Buddy), and Faye Head (Ralph) all of AL. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by her brothers, O’Neal, Dennis, and Thomas. The family will receive friends from 1:30PM to 2:30PM on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Fairforest Church of God. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:30PM, officiated by the Reverend John Petty III. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fairforest Church of God; 2662 Fairforest Clevedale Rd. Spartanburg, SC 29301.
