Cathy Meindl Schmanski

Roebuck, SC- Cathy Meindl Schmanski, 69, wife of Gerald J. Schmanski, died Sunday, July 10, 2016. Born May 29, 1947 in Chicago, IL, Cathy was the daughter of the late George and Ruth Olson Meindl. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Council #9575 and also a member of Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church where she was a religious education teacher. In addition to her husband, Cathy is survived by her son, Lt. Col. Brian Schmanski (Heather) of Sumter, SC; grandchildren, Maiya and Liam Schmanski; and a brother, George Meindl (Judy) of Belvidere, IL. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 14th, 6-8PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, July 15th, 12noon at Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church.
