Pauline, SC- James Robert Lawson, 63, lifelong resident of Pauline, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 9, 2016. Born November 19, 1952, Robert was the son of the late John Murphy and Sarah Sigmon “Saraleen” Lawson. He was a graduate of Paul M. Dorman High School and R. D. Anderson Vocational School. Robert was a CNC Programmer and retired from Jeffrey Manufacturing in Woodruff, SC after 34 years of service. He loved to tinker and always had a project. Robert was of the Baptist faith. Robert’s legacy lives on in the lives of his two sons, James Dereck (Lori) of Roebuck, SC and John Lewis Lawson of Evans, GA; his beautiful grandchildren, Nicholas, Regan, and Stella Lawson of Augusta, GA; sisters, Bonnie Cox of Spartanburg, SC, Christy Crocker of Rocky Mount, NC, Linda Padgett (Arlen) of Pauline, SC, and Tammy Phipps (David) of Inman, SC; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by a grandson, JD Lawson. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 13th, 6-8PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 14th, 11AM at Dunbar Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Keith Taylor.
