Spartanburg, SC- Ysabel deVignier Dulken, wife of the late John F. Dulken, died peacefully at her home, Greylogs, on Saturday, July 23, 2016, one day past her 90th birthday. Born July 22, 1926 in Wilmington, DE, Ysabel was the daughter of the late John Thompson and Ysabel Yolande deVignier Brown. She moved to Spartanburg in 1961 with her beloved husband and their three children. Ysabel never desired to be acknowledged for her accomplishments, and they are too numerous to list. Her devotion to Mobile Meals, the music department at Converse College and Wofford College, and ALL the arts, to name a few, endeared her to all. Mrs. Dulken is survived by her daughter, Katharine deVignier Fearington and her husband, Paul Mercer Fearington of Tallahassee, FL and their children, James Hardin Parr, Thomas Gregory Parr, Paul Mercer Fearington, Jr., and Elizabeth Peyton Fearington; her son, John Glenn Dulken and his wife, Lynne Eilenburg Dulken, of Charlotte, NC and their children, Benjamin Willcox Dulken, Joshua Bernard Dulken, and Theresa deVignier Dulken; and son, William Mark Dulken of Brevard, NC and his children, Anna Danielle Dulken and Michael Macfarland Dulken; and her companion and assistant, D. Mars-Whitehead. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 30th, 4:00PM at The Episcopal Church of the Advent. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Parish and Community Life Center.
