Horace M. "Snooty" Pearson

Horace M. “Snooty” Pearson Moore – Horace Mason Pearson, 82, husband of Doris Turner Pearson, died Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Snooty was born on May 3, 1934 to the late John Elford and Sally West Pearson. He honorably served his country in the US Army, was a member and former ordained Deacon at Canaan Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Snooty is survived by a son, Keith Pearson of Startex; two daughters, Karen Pearson of Moore, and Nancy Pearson of Startex. He was blessed with six Grandchildren and four great grandsons. Snooty was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda Pearson Hawkins. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 3:00PM on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Dunbar Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will follow at 3:00PM in the Chapel officiated by Reverend Joel Gardner. Committal will be at Westwood Memorial Gardens. In remembrance of Snooty, memorials may be made to Piedmont Hospice; 209 A Riverside Ct., Greer, SC 29650. The family is at the home.
