Vera W. Gault

Vera W. Gault Spartanburg- Vera White Gault, 94, wife of Carol Ledley Gault Jr., died Thursday, August 18, 2016. Vera was born in Jonesville, SC on May 28, 1922, a daughter of the late Daniel C. and Vinnie Willard White; she graduated from Jonesville High School, class of 1939. She was retired from ASCS. Vera was blessed as a caregiver and had a passion to help others. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, and previously a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband of 74 years, Vera is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Irene Gregory, Ada Broome, Lena Meek, Jim, Coleman, and Bob White. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 20, 2016, 10:00AM – 11:00AM at St. James United Methodist Church. A funeral service will immediately follow, officiated by Reverend Wayne Smith. Burial will be at New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery, Jonesville, SC In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Vera’s memory to Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, 419 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29301 or to St. James United Methodist Church, 213 N. Landford Rd. Spartanburg, SC 29301
