Thiane Sengchan

Duncan, SC- Thiane Sengchan, 73, husband of 48 years to Thongvanh Sengchan, died Monday, August 29, 2016. Born May 25, 1943, Thiane was a son of the late Thitlek and Phouma of Laos. He was formerly an engineer with the US Embassy in Laos. Thiane was a genuinely kind, generous, and hardworking man with a big heart and a strong love for his family. He was an automotive machinist and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his wife, Thiane is survived by his children, Somxay Sengchan of Duncan, SC, Vilay Ashley Turchetta of Moore, SC, and Samuel Sengchan of Atlanta, GA; five grandsons; and a brother, Nhot John Sisouvanh of Phoenix, AZ. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 31st, 2-4PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.
