Roebuck, SC- Deborah Owens “Debi” Peeler, 66, beloved wife of Carl M. “Mike” Peeler, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at her home.
Born November 15, 1949 in Union, SC, Debi was a daughter of the late Clyde Thomas and Vivian Burgess Owens. She was a cheerleader and graduate of Dorman High School, Class of 1968. Debi served as a youth pastor for many years. She dearly loved her family and grandchildren. Debi was a member of Woodruff Church of God.
In addition to her husband, Debi is survived by her son, Coby M. Peeler (Pam) of Chesnee, SC; her daughter, Shannon P. Lindsay (Michael) of Mount Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Hayden Riley, Delaney Peeler, Kyndal Peeler, and Marli Peeler; a brother, Thomas W. Owens; and a sister, Sandy O. Blanchard.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff of 5 West at Spartanburg Regional and the staff of Spartanburg Dialysis Clinic for their special care.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 6th, 6-8PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 7th, 1PM at Woodruff Church of God, officiated by Reverend Curtis Terry and Reverend James Shealy.
Burial will follow in Heritage Memorial Gardens in Roebuck, SC.
