James Edward "Jimmy" Caldwell

Moore, SC- James Edward Caldwell, 79, husband of Patsy Wood Caldwell, died Monday, September 5, 2016. Born June 23, 1937 in Spartanburg, SC, Jimmy was a son of the late Douglas Eugene and Gladys Pearson Caldwell. He was a graduate of Fairforest High School, class of 1955. Jimmy honorably served his country in the US Air Force and was employed with HUBTEX of North America until his retirement. He was a charter member of Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Jimmy is survived by his sons, James “Scott” Caldwell and his wife, Mary, of Boiling Springs, SC and Craig E. Caldwell and his wife, Sonya, of Spartanburg, SC; two grandchildren, James Douglas and Kathryn Ann Caldwell; and a special niece, Deborah Vaughn. He was predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth E. and Ray Caldwell. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 7th, 6-8PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Graveside services with military honors will be held Thursday, September 8th, 11AM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, officiated by Reverend Joey Burnett.
