Frances Jackson Patton

Frances J. Patton Spartanburg – Frances Jackson Patton, 89, wife of the late Robert H. Patton, died Thursday, September 29, 2016. Frances was born on April 15, 1927 to the late Frank and Maggie Lee Swindler Jackson. She graduated from Mill Spring High School in Polk County, NC, was a 1948 graduate of Converse College, and a member of Spartanburg First Baptist Church. Frances is survived by a daughter, Frances P. Stockdale (Lynn) of Moore, a brother, Dan Jackson of Charlotte, NC; and daughter in law, Stacey Patton of Columbia. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Victoria, Samuel, Jeremiah, and Jada Grace. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Robert H. Patton, Jr., brothers, Edwin Jackson, James Jackson; and granddaughter, Tiffany Stockdale. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
