Spartanburg, SC- Barbara Woodall Satterfield, 78, wife of Steven Mack Satterfield, Sr., died peacefully in her home on Friday, September 30, 2016. Born September 25, 1938 in Taylors, SC, Barbara was the daughter of the late Lewis Fay and Mauda Ferguson Woodall. She was a graduate of Taylors High School. Barbara was an interior designer by trade, and a longtime member of First Baptist Church Spartanburg. In addition to her husband of 60 years, Barbara is survived by her daughters, Keleigh Satterfield Collins and her husband, Craig Martin Collins, Susan Satterfield Frehse and her husband, John Wood Frehse; grandchildren, Jessica Satterfield Gunnell, Stefanie Ann Satterfield, Grace Keleigh Collins, John Craig Collins, Mack Satterfield Collins, Joshua Stephen Collins, Hannah Catherine Collins, Faith Elizabeth Collins, John Wood Frehse, Jr., Georgia Grace Frehse, and Fulton Max Frehse; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Steven Mack Satterfield, Jr.; and brothers, Lamar Ross Woodall and Jerry Woodall. The family will receive friends Monday, October 3rd, 1:00-2:45PM at First Baptist Church Spartanburg in the Parlor. A memorial service will follow at 3PM in the Chapel, officiated by Reverend Sal Barone.
