Jewel Garrett Steinly

Spartanburg, SC- Jewel Jean Garrett Steinly, 79, wife of the late Robert “Bob” Steinly, died Friday, September 30, 2016. Born April 23, 1937 in Fentress, TN, Jewel was a daughter of the late Issac Jacob and Rhoda Bell Beaty Garrett. She retired from Self Regional after many years of nursing. Jewel was a member of Bethany Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her grandson, David Clark, II (Christy) of Moore, SC; and two great grandchildren, Victoria Clark and Andrew Burroughs. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Ruth Anagnost; and eight siblings. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 6th, 2PM at Bethany Wesleyan Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany Wesleyan Church, 501 Bethany Church Road, Moore, SC 29369.
