Mildred Schaepering Case

Woodruff, SC- Mildred Schaepering Case, 93, died Monday, October 17, 2016. Born October 2, 1923, Mildred was a daughter of the late Fredrick William and Minna Meta Rebecca Oldenbuttel Schaepering. After attending the Washington School for Secretaries, she was a paralegal for many years in New York before relocating to South Carolina. Mildred was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church. Mildred is survived by her brother, Herbert “Herb” F. Shaepering and his wife, Terry; a sister, Marie DeVries; and three nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a nephew. Committal will be held at a later date at The Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, New York. In remembrance of Mildred, memorials may be made to Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 1430 John B White Sr. Blvd, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
