D. Trevor Davenport

Spartanburg, SC- Daniel Trevor Davenport, 26, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016. Born May 22, 1990 in Spartanburg, SC, Trevor was the son of Daniel and Laura Ann Shields Davenport. Trevor was a dear son, cherished grandson, loving brother, thoughtful nephew, kindhearted cousin but most importantly a beautiful soul. Trevor's fearless approach to life was evident in his love for motorcycles and the belief that they were always more fun on just one wheel. In addition to his parents, Trevor is survived by his grandmother, Brenda Shields; his sister, Kelci Davenport; cousins, Jessica Jolly and Averi Jolly Hall (Justin); aunts and uncles, Dawn Jolly (Billy), Courtney Shields, Christopher Shields (Vitaly), Mark Davenport, Jimmy Davenport (Antoinette) and Kathy Richardson (David); and several cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Robert Shields; paternal grandparents, Helen and William Davenport; and aunt, Patricia Ann Davenport. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 29th from 10-10:45 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church.   A memorial service will follow at 11 AM in the church sanctuary, officiated by Reverend Michael Shackelford. Committal will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 415 S. Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
