Richard M. "Dick" Wiernicki

Richard M. “Dick” Wiernicki Roebuck - Richard Mitchell Wiernicki, 74, of Roebuck, SC died peacefully at home on Monday, October 31, 2016 following a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.  He was born in upstate New York on March 18, 1942. Dick “came to Virginia” in 1969 to work as a Design Engineer at GE in the TV division. While there he met the love of his life, Sheila with whom he spent 43 years of marriage. He loved outdoor activities and was always happy to share them with the kids and made many friends while enjoying them. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sheila, children; Linda Krukowski (Jim) of Midland, MI, Leigh Finch- Dunaway (Jason) of Duncan, SC, Mary Wiernicki (and fiancé, Travis Rozier) of Columbia, SC and Michael Wiernicki of Brooklyn, NY.  Six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, as well as his brother Kenneth.  He was predeceased by his parents, Mitchell and Mary Wiernicki of Herkimer, NY.
