Freida Walker Martin

Cowpens, SC – Freida Walker Martin, 76, of Cowpens, SC died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.  Born May 13, 1940 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Robinson and Ethel Grumble Walker.  She was predeceased by her brother, David D. Walker of Duncan, SC.  She was retired from ABCO Industries, Ltd., Roebuck, SC, after 32 years of employment. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Jimmie Lee Martin; one son, Kenneth Lee Martin and wife, Melissa, of Spartanburg, SC; two granddaughters, Marylee and Sarah Martin of Spartanburg, SC; and one     sister, Gwen Walker Osteen of Hendersonville, NC.    Funeral services will be conducted at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm, 1300 Fernwood Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
