Lisa A. Tallent Godfrey

Lisa Ann T. Godfrey Moore, SC- Lisa Ann Tallent Godfrey, 54, died Sunday, November 20, 2016. Born April 3, 1962 in Spartanburg, SC, Lisa was the daughter of Rebecca Bradley Tallent and the late Jessie Tallent. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Lisa will always be remembered for her kind and loving spirit. In addition to her mother, Lisa is survived by her son, Joshua Godfrey of Spartanburg, SC; two daughters, Melissa Berry and Angel Godfrey, both of Moore, SC; a grandson, Justin Hunter-Berry; a brother, Jimmy Tallent (Stephanie) of Roebuck, SC; and a sister, Kandi Balmer of Duncan, SC. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a brother, Mark Tallent. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 23rd, 5-7PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 25th, 2PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Frankie Taylor. Burial will follow in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.
