James Woelfle Dixon, II

Spartanburg, SC- James Woelfle Dixon, II, 36, died Friday, November 18, 2016. On November 15, 1980, a kind, loving, and artistic spirit was born as the son of James Woelfle and Deborah Ann Belch Dixon. Jay grew into a talented guitar player, a gifted songwriter, and passionate singer. He thrived on making others laugh with his good humor and love for his beloved son, Sully. Jay was a graduate of Palmetto High School, class of 99, in Williamston, SC and was an avid Gamecock fan. In addition to his parents, left behind to cherish his memories are his son, Sullivan Woelfle Dixon; sister, Kimberly Nicole Dixon; Robin Porter; lifelong friend & mother to his son, Mary Anna Dixon; and many other beloved family members. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 23rd, 2:30PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. Committal will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens.
