Lucille Petty Easler

Spartanburg, SC- Lucille Petty Easler, 97, wife of the late Walter Easler, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Born March 28, 1919 in Spartanburg, SC, Lucille was the daughter of the late Lath and Effie Rogers Petty. She was the owner and operator of Westside Styling Salon and a longtime member of Westgate Baptist Church. Lucille is survived by her daughter, Joyce Shelton of Spartanburg, SC; four grandchildren, Ricky Hammett, Tammy Stone, Caroline Taylor, and Tonya Belcher; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many other beloved extended family. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Ann Henderson. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 26th, 11:00AM until 12:45PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel at 1:00PM, officiated by Reverend Dr. Eddie Burris and Reverend Tony Sieber. Burial will be held in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westgate Christian School, 1990 Old Reidville Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
