James "Jimmy" Morgan Isom

Spartanburg, SC- James Morgan Isom, Jr., 60, died Friday, November 25, 2016. Born January 11, 1956, Jimmy was the son of the late James Morgan and Frances Payne Isom. He was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and Clemson University, where he was a member and Councilman of the Kappa Alpha Order. Jimmy was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Jimmy is survived by his beloved, Donna Johnson; his sons, John Michael Isom and his wife, Julia, of John’s Island, SC and Nicholas Walker Isom of Spartanburg, SC; a sister, Ellen Isom Gordon and her husband, Joel; nieces, Sarah Gordon Komisarow and her husband, Jordan, and Jessica Gordon. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 28th, 3:30PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, officiated by Reverend Steve Wise. Pallbearers will be Phil Morrow, Phil Wilson, Byrd Miller, Chat Gilmore, Steve Poole, Carlton Carr, Miller McCormick, and Rich Harris. The family will be at the home.
