Scott Wayne Edwards

Spartanburg, SC- Scott Wayne Edwards, 53, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016. Born November 6, 1963 in Greer, SC, Scott was a son of Samuel Wayne and Barbara Burrell Edwards. He honorably served his country in the US Army on the 118th Military Police Battalion of the 82nd Airborne. Scott was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Scott is survived by his daughters, Lynne Fowler (Eugene) of Boiling Springs, SC and Tasha Wenger (David) of Lyman, SC; two grandchildren, Annalise and Brooklyn; and a brother, Michael Edwards. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 10th, 1-2PM at Calvary Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2PM, officiated by Reverend Dr. Tim Wofford. Burial will be held in Westwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Hill Baptist Church, 100 Calvary Hill Church Dr, Lyman, SC 29365.
