George Easler

Spartanburg, SC- George Easler, 69, husband of the late Janice Easler, died Monday, December 12, 2016. Born May 9, 1947 in Spartanburg, SC, George was a son of the late Lee and Esther Hembree Easler. He was the owner and operator of Easler Custom Builders and a member of the Cherokee Springs Masonic Lodge 135. George had a passion for and enjoyed the game of softball. George is survived by his son, Greg Easler of Nashville, TN; three daughters, Julie Davis (Matt) of Gastonia, NC, Kellie Renfro (Joe) of Spartanburg, SC, and Kristi Easler of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Hugh Easler (Martha) of Williamsburg, VA. In addition to his wife, George was predeceased by a brother, Leroy Easler; and a sister, Frances Moore. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 15th, 4PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenville Health System Office of Philanthropy and Partnership, Cystic Fibrosis, ATTN: Yvonne Kelly , 300 E.
