Ada Harmon Willis

Roebuck, SC- Ada Belle Harmon Willis, 89, wife of the late Vernon E. Willis, Sr., died Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Born February 6, 1927 in Spartanburg, SC, Ada was the daughter of the late Herbert and Maggie Thompson Harmon. She was a graduate of Pacolet High School and co-owner of the Willis Cash Mart in Stone Station. Ada was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #216 and of Stone Station Baptist Church. Ada is survived by her son, Dennis Willis (Jennifer) of Lyman, SC; her daughter, Carol Benson (Ron) of Moore, SC; and three grandchildren, Kevin Willis, Lori Willis-Richards (Justin), and Matthew Benson. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Eddie Willis; and a brother, Howard Harmon. Graveside services will be held Friday, January 6th, 2PM in Heritage Memorial Gardens, officiated by Reverend Dr. Jim Jackson. The family will be at their respective homes.
