Mary Jayne Paynter Barker

Easley, SC- Mary Jayne Paynter Barker, 65, wife of the late Thomas Wayne Barker, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Born September 25, 1951 in Madison, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late DuWayne and Marjorie Paynter. Mary studied nursing at the University of Wisconsin. She loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother and was a member of Joy Lutheran Church in Spartanburg. Mary is survived by her sons, Dean Tate, Anthony DuWayne, and Darin Fredrick Barker; and three grandchildren, August, Alex, and Sarah. Graveside services will be held Friday, January 13th, 1:00PM in the MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC.
