David Scott Lewis

Spartanburg, SC – David Lewis, 56, husband of April Hughes Lewis, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017. David was born on July 28, 1960 to the late Carl Willard and Mary Jeanne Shafer Lewis. He honorably served his country in the US Navy, was a graduate of the University of Colorado and the University of Washington, School of Public Health. David was a Physician Assistant with Foothills Cardiothoracic and Orthopedic Associates. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a step-daughter, Rachel Stininger; brother, Stephen Lewis (Linda) of Mulberry, FL; and many nephews, nieces, and great nieces. David was also predeceased by a brother, Martin Keith Lewis. A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, February 25th at Westminster Presbyterian Church, officiated by Reverend Dr. Paul Petersen. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at the home.
