Charles "Chuck" Erroll Ray

Boiling Springs, SC- Charles Erroll Ray, 63, husband of Maureen Wiley Ray, died Wednesday, March 08, 2017. Born October 14, 1953 in Columbia, SC, Chuck was a son of Mildred Brazeil Ray and the late William Thurman Ray. He was a former employee of Spartanburg EMS and Spartan Foods. Chuck was an avid NASCAR fan, a car enthusiast, and the grandpa of Cody Mason, Skylar Mason, Rylie Ray, Landon Ray, Kayleigh Ray, Harvey Ray, Grace Ray, Carter Ray, and Mason Tucker. In addition to his wife, Chuck is survived by his daughter, Misty Mason of Inman, SC; two sons, Nick Ray (Kelley) and Allen Ray (Megan), both of Boiling Springs, SC; and a brother, Dr. Max Ray of Tennessee. He was predeceased by a son, Ronnie Ray; a brother, Larry Ray; and a sister, Sandra McCray. A memorial service will be Friday, March 10th, 2PM at Dunbar Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Joe White. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westside Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1700 John B White Blvd, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
