Larry Vincent Parker

Larry V. Parker Spartanburg- Larry Vincent Parker, 74, husband of Norma Foster Parker, died on Friday, March 10, 2017. Larry was born on September 6, 1942, a son of the Late Broadus Hines and Edna Gowan Parker.  He faithfully served his country in the US Navy, was a graduate of Clemson University, and loved to Ski.  Larry, an electrical engineer, was also a member of the VFW, loved his dog Lily, and Clemson football. In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by his son, Nathan Parker (Kelly) of Ga.; his daughter; Julie Parker of Woodruff; three sisters, Paula Thompson (Dale) of Greenville, Beverly Collie, Betty Hines, both of Boiling Springs, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM – 3:00PM on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Dunbar Funeral Home.  A graveside service with military honors will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens.
