Angela Scarboro Angeli

Angela Scarboro Angeli, age 56, of Chesnee, SC passed away peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Spartanburg Regional Hospital after a year and a half of fighting breast cancer. Angie was born in Spartanburg on December 15, 1967, the daughter of Elizabeth Bruce Sample and Charles Scarboro. She was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School and graduated from USC Upstate. Angie was a District 6 School Teacher where she served at Gable Middle School and at Fairforest Middle School. She loved her students and always referred to them as “her babies”. Angie had a contagious smile and lived life to the fullest. She was also an avid Gamecocks fan. Angie leaves behind the love of her life, her son, Douglas William Angeli, Jr. In addition, she leaves behind her mother, Elizabeth Bruce Sample (Roy), father, Charles Scarboro, and stepbrother, Jason Sample. Visitation will be 12:00-1:45pm on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Roebuck Baptist Church in Roebuck, SC. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm, conducted by Rev. Tim Williams. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park in Greer, SC. The family will be at the home of Roy and Elizabeth Sample.
