Anne Kyle McIntyre

Anne Kyle McIntyre,96, born on September 29, 1924, daughter of Faye Brookes Kyle and James Hamilton Waring Kyle of Fayetteville, North Carolina, died on August 4, 2021 at home in Pawleys Island, SC. She is survived by daughters, DeBeer Brookes McIntyre of Albuquerque, NM and Anne “Rickie” McIntyre Goldberg (Richard) of Pawleys Island,SC; a son, Kyle Hamilton McIntyre of Winnabow, NC; two grandchildren, Theodore Augustus Constantine Hargrove, II (Jaclyn), Anne McIntyre Hargrove; and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Howard Kenneth McIntyre. A life-long Episcopalian, she was a member of Prince George Winyah Church, Georgetown, SC. Anne and her husband helped establish and support St. Luke's Free Medical Clinic in Spartanburg, SC. She also volunteered for many years helping youngsters develop reading skills until her blindness made it impossible to continue. A private family service of thanksgiving for her life will be held.
