Barbara Burrell Edwards

Spartanburg, SC - Barbara Burrell Edwards,78, wife of the late Samuel Wayne Edwards, passed away on November 23rd, 2023. Born on October 14th, 1945 in Tryon, N.C., she was a daughter of the late L.A. and Grace Plumley Burrell. Barbara was a devoted grandmother who cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She was also passionate business owner. She loved her business, E.S.P. (Edwards Specialty Premiums), where she crafted custom advertising solutions. She is survived by her son; Michael Allen Edwards (Melanie), or Moore, S.C., her grandchildren; Lynne Parks (Ryan), Tasha Wenger (David), Madeline and Macen Edwards, and great grandchildren; Brooklyn Wenger, Sebastian Wenger, and Annalise Ellis, one brother; Larry Burrell. In addition to her husband, Samuel Wayne Edwards, she is preceded in death by her son, Scott Wayne Edwards, a brother, Frank Burrell, and a sister, Evelyn Waters. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28th, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the J.M. Dunbar Funeral Home. Barbara will be buried in the M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran’s Cemetery in Anderson, S.C.
