Benjamin Phillip Kimbrell

Chesnee, SC- Benjamin Phillip Kimbrell, 73, died Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born September 24, 1944 in Chesnee, SC, Phil was a son of the late James Kenneth and Mallie Belle Hamrick Kimbrell. Phil is survived by his son, Jason Kimbrell and his wife, Mary; three grandchildren, Hannah and Grant Kimbrell, and Heather Whitehead; four brothers, James, Ronald, Robert, and Russell Kimbrell; and two sisters, Yvonne Gray and Angela Kimbrell.He was predeceased by a son, Phil "Pink" Kimbrell. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 15th, 1-2PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2PM in the Chapel. Burial will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gibbs Cancer Center, 101 E Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
