Betty J. Davis (Visnaw,) age 68, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend went home to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, January 14, 2021, after a lengthy illness. Betty was born on August 29, 1952 in Saginaw MI, to her father, the late Harvey Visnaw Sr., and survived by her mother, Tula Visnaw (Barnett). Betty passed away January 14, 2021 in Spartanburg S.C. and is survived by her Loving Husband Pierce Wayne Davis of Pacolet, SC. Betty is also survived by her two children, several grandchildren, her sister, Melba Drew (Ken)of Troy, MI, her brother Harvey Visnaw Jr. (Cindy) of Houston, TX, and her sister Cheryl Paterson (Brian) of Knoxville, TN., and many Uncles, Aunts, Nieces and Nephews. It would be wrong to say that Betty lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Betty stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Betty. Just because she is no longer here, it does not mean she lost her fight. “Your life was a Blessing, Memory a Treasure…You Are Loved Beyond Words and Missed Beyond Measure”. We will cherish the endless wonderful memories we shared and carry you in our hearts forever. We love you always and forever. Wayne is planning a Celebration of Life, in the early Spring, to honor the life of his wife, Betty Davis, for her family and friends.
