Brenda Robinson Murphree

Brenda Robinson Murphree, 77, of Arcadia, SC passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2024. She was born on May 12, 1947 to the late James G. Robinson and Wilma Cooper Robinson of Arcadia, SC.

Brenda was in the first graduating class of Dorman High School in 1965. She had two marriages, two careers, and raised three daughters. Brenda was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and “Nana”. She possessed a heart of gold and compassion beyond words for all of her friends and family.

She was predeceased by her parents; her baby sister, Rita Colley; her late husband, William F. Murphree of Liberty, SC; and her brother-in-law, Wayne Messick. Brenda is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Bolick of Greenville, SC, Sarah Hatchette of Arcadia, SC, and Amanda Hatchette of Rapid City, SD. She is also survived by her brother, Vernon Robinson (Renee); sisters, Sandra Messick and Peggy Trotter (Roger); many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and her beloved grandchildren who are her legacy, Caitlain, Isaiah, Matthew, Jaelyn, Lauren, Ethan, and Dajah.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm at J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home, 690 Southport Rd, Roebuck, SC 29376. Funeral services will be 1:00pm on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Todd Lowe. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens will be private.
