C Myers Hollis

C. Myers Hollis, 89, died on November 30, 2021 in Spartanburg, SC. Born in Union, SC, on January 31, 1932, Myers was the son of the late Orin Bomar and Bessie Alverson Hollis and the husband of Judith B. Hollis. Myers was a graduate of Union High School, Class of 1949 and Wofford College, Class of 1956. He served two years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He spent most of his professional life as an agent for New York Life Insurance Company. Myers was a member of Skylyn Drive Presbyterian Church, where he served as a trustee and elder. Survivors, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Charles Myers Hollis, Jr. and James Bomar Hollis (Shae) and seven grandchildren, Caleb, Lydia, Natalie, Hope, Charlie, Jake, and Jeremiah. Myers had three sisters, Mary H. Smith, Alice H. Lewis, and Betty Hollis, all deceased, as well as four brothers, Orin B. Hollis Jr., G. Truett Hollis, J. Thomas Hollis, and Richard E.
