Carla Hatchette Varner

Carla H. Varner Spartanburg – Carla Hatchette Varner, 34, wife of the Jason Varner, died Thursday, August 30, 2018. Carla was born on August 28, 1984 to David D. Hatchette and the late Louise Gibbs Hatchette. A lifelong resident of Spartanburg, she was a Broome High School graduate, class of 2002, Spartanburg Community College Graduate, class of 2006, and a past employee of SmileMakers.  Carla was a member of Impact Community Church and loved being a mama. In addition to her father and her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Carson Varner of the home; brother, Rob McDonald (Shana) of Inman; sisters, Jennifer Bolick, Sarah Hatchette, and Amanda Hatchette all of Travelers Rest. The family would like to express their appreciation for the love and care of the staff of Spartanburg Dialysis. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday August 31, 2018 at Dunbar Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Dunbar Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Dr. David Walker. Interment will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation; 30 East 33rd st. New York, NY 10016. The family is at the home.
