Inman, SC- Caroline G. Weidler, 81, entered eternal rest after the gracious care of the angels at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, on Saturday, September 15, 2018, surrounded by her children. Born December 8, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna Fey. Caroline will be lovingly remembered by all for her devotion to her family, friends, and church. A lifelong, devout Catholic, Caroline has had the privilege of being a member of Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, Edward Weidler (Alice), Ann LaPorte (Tom), Mary Weidler, Caroline Corvino (Dee), and Michael Weidler (Trish); nine grandchildren, Edward Weidler, Heather Ann Weidler, Carol Jean Zrinko, Kyle Zrinko, Dennis Larsen, Nicholas Corvino, Benjamin Kern, Joseph Weidler, and Michael Henry; also surviving are her sisters and brother-in-law, Katherine Ball and Anna and David French; her faithful companion, Angel; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved family friends, Karen Smith, Donna Henry, and Marion and Bob Reitermayer. Caroline was predeceased by her husband, Edward W. Weidler, Jr. A Mass of Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 22nd, 12Noon at Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church, 2575 Reidville Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Adorno Fathers at Jesus Our Risen Savior, 2575 Reidville Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
