Charles Miller Clark

Boiling Springs, SC- Charles Miller Clark, 80, husband of Ruth Jones Clark, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023.

Born January 29, 1943 in Fairfield, TN, Charles was a son of the late Isaac Miller Clark and Madeline Beesley Clark. He graduated in 1967 with a BA in ministry and a minor in Greek from Harding University. He was the former minister at 39th Street Church of Christ, in Independence, Missouri, Sharpe Church of Christ in Kentucky, and The Mt. Vernon Church of Christ in Illinois. He retired from full time preaching while working with the Boiling Springs South Carolina Church of Christ in 2006.

In addition to his wife, Ruth, he is survived by: daughter, Angela (Perry) Blakeman and daughter, Melanie (Scott) Chitwood and 5 grandchildren: Forest & Amanda Blakeman, Chase, Maddie and Abigail Chitwood. 

Charles was predeceased by: His parents and 3 siblings. 

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 29th, 10:00-10:45AM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel at 11:00AM.

Burial will be held in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Church of Christ Disaster Relief or the Boiling Springs Church of Christ.
