Roebuck, SC-Charles Rickman Stepp, age 61, married to Wendy Ann Stepp, was tragically killed in a car accident Wednesday evening, December 2, 2020 and now in the arms of Jesus. Born in Hendersonville, NC, on December 18, 1958, Rick was the son of the late Charles Rubin Stepp and Barbara Ann Story. He was a graduate of Spartanburg High School class of 1977, and attended the University of South Carolina. An entrepreneur and partner of RSS Restoration, he loved all aspects of construction. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, golfing, and cars, but mostly spending time with his children and grandchildren. Rick loved to make people laugh. He was a generous man with a kind heart, and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his beloved children, Shannon Ashley Cooper (Brayden), Charles Colby Stepp, and Chad Rickman Stepp; grandchildren, Millie, Myles, and Molli Cooper, all of whom he adored. In addition to his parents, Rick was predeceased by his sister, Resa Jo Edge. A celebration service will be held Thursday, December 10th, 4:00PM at NewSpring Church, 399 Peachwood Center Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29301. The family kindly request that everyone wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines. Burial will be private.
