Charles Edward Steward

Charles Edward Steward, 93, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at his residence. Charles was born in Cherokee County, SC on April 19, 1930, a son of the late Claude and Ollie Smith Steward. He was the husband of the late Yvonne Willis Steward. Charles is survived by two sons, Richard Steward and Charles Steward, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Peggy Holden and Inez Raney of Inman, SC, Kay Osment of Spartanburg, SC, and Katherine Millwood of Pickens, SC. He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna S. Parris; three sisters, Johnsie Johnson, Frances George, and Alma Taylor; and four brothers, Nathan, Butch, Bobby, and Claude Steward. Graveside services will be 3:00pm on Thursday, January 11, 2024 in Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 South Church Ext, Roebuck, South Carolina 29376 conducted by Rev. Todd Lowe.
