Clement Harrelson

Spartanburg, SC- Clement Harrelson, 88, husband of Joanne Goodwin Harrelson, died Thursday, December 31, 2020. Born March 6, 1932 in Pauline, SC, Clement was a son of the late Darcey and Helen Cathcart Harrelson. He was a graduate of Pauline High School, class of 1951, and worked as a machinist in local plants. Clement retired from Phillips Fibers after many years of service. He was a Shriner, member of Woodmen of the World, and masonic member of the Arcadia Masonic Lodge #285 AFM. Clement was a member of Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Clement is survived by his sons, Terry Harrelson and his wife, Vickie, and Joey Harrelson and his wife, Anna; seven grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Harrelson; and a grandchild, Shannon Harrelson. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the family kindly requests that everyone wear their masks and social distance when attending services. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 7, 2021, 2:00PM at Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Dr. D. J. Horton. Burial will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will be at the home and asks that when visiting, masks be worn.
