Clyde William Ward

Spartanburg, SC- Clyde William Ward, 88, husband of 62 years to late Bobbie McKinney Ward, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born October 30, 1929 in Spartanburg, SC, he was a son of the late Claude and Alta Petty Ward and is the last surviving family member of his immediate family. Clyde retired from Lance, Inc. after 30 years of service. He was a faithful member of First Baptist  Church Spartanburg where he was a part of the Clark/Gardner Life Group. Clyde is survived his three daughters, Kerry Davis (Phil) of Greer, Kay Floyd (Wayne) of Spartanburg, and Kelly Cox (David) of Boiling Springs; and nine grandchildren. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Spartanburg Regional Heart Center, the Gibbs Cancer Center, and the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. They also want to thank Pearline Goode for her attentive and compassionate care. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 8th, 1:30-2:30PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:30PM in the Chapel at Dunbar Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Sal Barone and Reverend Bob Morgan. Burial will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
